Evigia is the industry leader in utilizing integrated sensor and ASIC technologies to dramatically improve the functionality and cost of wireless and sensing products ( Evigia is currently seeking a postdoctoral research fellow to further advance our current research and developments in the areas of the state-of-art MEMS sensors and innovative MEMS-CMOS integration test and packaging. A qualified candidate should have strong technical and analytical skills, a hands-on experience to test MEMS devices, and a practical approach to engineering problems and the solutions.

Desired Knowledge

• Lead the research and developments for a new cluster of innovative MEMS temperature, humidity and shock/vibration sensors and associated technologies.
• Work closely with MEMS process engineers to simulate, model, test and characterize new materials that are best suitable for low-cost and high-performance temperature, humidity and shock sensing.
• Involve in development of advanced technologies in the areas of Evigia’s new-generation MEMS sensors, MEMS-CMOS integration, and device packaging.
• Work with cross functional teams including customers to derive the technology requirements for future products.
• Publish research work in journals and prepare for/present presentation for conferences in related fields. The number of publication depends on the outcomes of proposed research assignments.

• A Ph.D. degree in EE, ME, Material Science, Applied Physics or ChemE.
• A strong background in MEMS sensors design, simulation and test, integration and package.
• Experience in MEMS sensor simulation using finite element (FEM) software is desired.
• Must be highly motivated to perform and manage multiple tasks in a timely manner with quality in mind.
• Must be a disciplined researcher, a practical thinker, a quick learner, and a problem solver.
• Previous MEMS fabrication experience is a plus but not required.
